Brightwater's Accountancy Team
On Saturday the 3rd of September myself and three other consultants specialising in accountancy here in Brightwater, Mark Byrne (Commercial Director), Lyn White and Tara Higgins headed to the Regency Hotel in Drumcondra to attend the IPASS graduation.
The Brightwater team was delighted to continue its association with IPASS and was proud to sponsor the Certificate in Payroll award. Despite the weather it was a great day for the graduates, their friends and family, with all of the accomplished graduates in high spirits. The guest speaker was Therese McCarthy, a motivational speaker.
During the event Brightwater held a prize draw for a €150 euro voucher for Brown Thomas. This also gave our consultants a great opportunity to talk to IPASS graduates about their future plans after graduation and potential opportunities. Some individuals were there for career progression reasons and others were just at the beginning of their career, but keen to get their qualification. The Brightwater recruitment team was delighted to assist everyone with career advice and help with the next step in their careers. The IPASS qualification is an essential requirement for a lot of industry, practice and financial services roles in today’s market and definitely worth looking into pursuing as a qualification. Those with UK and Irish payroll experience are particularly in demand.
The ceremony finished up with some light refreshments and another opportunity to then speak with graduates about current payroll positions available with Brightwater. All in all, it was a great day and congratulations again to all of those who graduated on Saturday and best of luck with your future careers.
