As always this highly popular event was sold out and a rapt audience listened to guest speaker Niall Quinn (former Irish footballer and Sunderland FC chairman) speak about both the need for the government to set up football academies of excellence as well as talk about his own career both as a footballer and as a club owner. He was highly entertaining and took the time to take pictures with his many fans at the ACCA event. 

Chair of ACCA Leinster Society Jason Murphy had chosen Alone as his charity of the year and all proceeds from the event as well as a prize raffle on the day went to the charity. CEO of Alone Ireland, Sean Moynihan spoke movingly on the increasing need to provide services to the elderly to combat loneliness and poverty. 

Brightwater's Accountancy team were out in force with invited guests to enjoy the dinner.  It was a wonderful event and thanks to Deirdre McGowan, Lyn McCarthy, Niamh Sheehan and Luke Brockie of the ACCA for organising it all.
