Brightwater was delighted to host an evening of Rugby & Wine for our clients in our Dublin offices. Former Irish players Gordon D’Arcy, Liam Toland, Malcom O’Kelly and Paul Wallace were all on hand to discuss Ireland’s chances in the tournament as well as reminisce about their own playing days and achievements. Liam Toland compered a very lively Q&A session from the rapt audience.
Our MD, Barbara McGrath, also introduced John Wilson, master sommelier and Irish Times columnist who gave a fascinating insight into both Old and New World wines as well as Japanese sake and beers.
The evening was in aid of the IRFU Charitable Trust which works to assist severely injured rugby players in their everyday lives. Barbara was delighted to present Linda Black of the trust with a cheque for €5,000 on behalf of Brightwater.
