About the Position
The financial accountant will work within a team and closely with the Head of Finance and Finance Controller to manage the reporting of financial accounts with specific emphasis on month-end reporting. This will suit a qualified accountant with Industry experience looking for the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities

Responsibility for the journals and general ledger to ensure timely completion of month end process.
Calculation of cost of goods sold in the manufacturing process to support Gross Margin analysis Monthly review of overheads.
Provide accurate month end reports to support the management accounts process.
Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet accounts
Maintain Customer rebates and discounts.
Involvement in the development of new accounting / ERP system
Assist in preparation of tax returns.
Support to the cash management process/preparation of rolling cash flow statement

Experience/Requirements

Qualified accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA
Accounting experience within the manufacturing/retail/FMCG industries preferred.
Good knowledge of GAAP / IFRS and tax laws.
Experience of working with ERP systems is an advantage.
