HR Generalist

This brand-new position is a key part of their exciting growth journey. You'll partner directly with the HR Business Partner and play a vital role in keeping their amazing team (both staff and volunteers) engaged and performing at their best.
This is a hybrid role with 2 days in the office, 2 days remote, and 1 day travel to other offices within Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

• Become a champion for the charity's people, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
• Be the go-to person for all things HR, from recruitment and onboarding to pay and benefits.
• Build strong relationships with staff and volunteers alike, resolving issues efficiently.
• Partner with the Volunteering Advisor to create a top-notch volunteer program.
• Stay on top of employment law and best practices to ensure compliance and excellence.
• Work collaboratively with the wider HR team and subject matter experts.
• Foster a diverse and inclusive culture where everyone feels valued and respected.

Experience/Requirements

• 5+ years of HR generalist experience across the employee life cycle.
• A passion for people and a commitment to excellent customer service.
• A problem-solving pro with a calm and pragmatic approach.
• Strong attention to detail and a knack for getting things done.
• A solid understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
• The ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
