About the Company
Our client is a well-established SME based in Dublin operating in the manufacturing sector. They are fast-growing market leader in a rapidly expanding sector with a strong competitive advantage in their product offering.
About the Position
Reporting to the CEO, the company are hiring a Financial Controller to join our team. The person will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. This role will play a key part in supporting strategic decision-making and driving financial performance. This is role will offer a opportunities for career progression with and is a key position on the senior management team.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure the accuracy of the costing system and the inventory valuation each month
Treasury Management including cash flow management.
Management of the Finance Team.
Prepare timely Monthly Financial Statements with analysis, variance analysis, and forecasting.
Prepare quarterly Board reporting packs.
Manage the budgeting process, including creating budgets, tracking expenses, and providing financial insights to management.
Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulations and internal guidelines.
Lead financial analysis and provide recommendations to improve financial performance and operational efficiency
Work closely with department heads to provide financial guidance and support decision-making. Director and CEO -Carry out capital investment appraisals and potential new ventures as required.
Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors during annual audits and tax filings
Assist in strategic planning, financial modelling, acquisition and other ad-hoc projects as needed.
Experience/Requirements
Qualified Accountant- ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CPA
Previous SME experience in a management capacity
Strong knowledge of financial principles and practices, as well as regulatory requirements
Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting and Costing
Manufacturing experience desirable
Previous experience of ERP system implementation would be an advantage.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
