About the Company
My client, based in South Dublin, owns a number of commercial and residential properties in Ireland, France and the USA.
About the Position
They are looking to hire a fully qualified accountant for a part time position. The hours will be 16 per week spread across 4 mornings 9.00am to 1.00am with 3 in the office and 1 from home.
Key Responsibilities
Keep Sage50 up to date for all companies, using Autoentry to save invoices.
Reconcile all bank accounts (Ire, France & USA) monthly.
Prepare and complete monthly management accounts
Maintain paper and electronic files for all companies, with bank statements, purchases, invoices and correspondence.
Issue quarterly rental invoices to Irish tenants.
Issue invoices to tenants for any re-charges e.g. insurance and water charges.
Timely payment of quarterly management fees and any special assessments in France & the USA.
Provide required information to accountants in Ireland, France and USA and ensure accounts are prepared and submitted on time in accordance with local requirements.
Upload French Invoices to online portal, NeoExpert.
Provide information required for annual Personal Income and Capital gains Tax returns to KPMG tax.
Co-ordinate the preparation and submission of annual Corporation Tax Returns with KPMG tax.
Co-ordinate the preparation and submission of Companies Office Returns with KPMG Law.
Ensure all insurance policies (Ireland, France & USA) are in place, renewed on time and that policies are printed and on file.
Experience/Requirements
Highly experienced in Sage50 accounts package.
Fully competent in MS Office suite.
Fully qualified ACCA, ACA, CIMA etc.
Experience in working in a multi-faceted environment.
A self-starter, happy to work alone.
Highly organised.
Calm under pressure.
Multi-tasker.
Attention to detail.
Deadline focussed.
Remuneration Package
€50,000-€60,000 (pro rata) DOE
