Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers to craft cutting-edge UIs that elevate the healthcare experience for millions. Your vision and technical expertise are crucial.
• The adoption of new technologies (including cloud giants like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud) to shape how users interact with Optum's future.
• Write clean, efficient code that sets the bar high. They want beautiful and functional UIs – and so your expertise is key.
• Mentor & Guide: Foster the growth of your UI Engineer team, sharing your knowledge and experience.

Experience/Requirements

• Bachelor's in tech (CS, IT, etc.) + experience building software with React, TypeScript/JavaScript.
• UI/UX Guru: Deep understanding of UI/UX design principles and the ability to act as a UI SME.
• Leadership Prowess: Experience guiding and mentoring junior UI Engineers is a must.
• Agile Champion: Experience with Agile, CI/CD, and DevOps – speak the language of efficient development.
• Cloud Savvy: Familiarity with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Problem Solver: Troubleshoot UI issues and implement solutions fast.
• Lifelong Learner: Passionate about staying ahead of the curve in UI/UX.

• Experience with UI/UX design tools (Figma, XD).
• Version control pro (Git).
• Prior lead/senior software engineer experience.
• Healthcare background (a plus, but certainly not required).
