About the Position
Lead UI Engineer: Craft User Interfaces that Heal
Key Responsibilities
What it involves:
Collaborate with designers to craft cutting-edge UIs that elevate the healthcare experience for millions. Your vision and technical expertise are crucial.
The adoption of new technologies (including cloud giants like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud) to shape how users interact with Optum's future.
Write clean, efficient code that sets the bar high. They want beautiful and functional UIs – and so your expertise is key.
Mentor & Guide: Foster the growth of your UI Engineer team, sharing your knowledge and experience.
Experience/Requirements
To succeed, you'll need:
Bachelor's in tech (CS, IT, etc.) + experience building software with React, TypeScript/JavaScript.
UI/UX Guru: Deep understanding of UI/UX design principles and the ability to act as a UI SME.
Leadership Prowess: Experience guiding and mentoring junior UI Engineers is a must.
Agile Champion: Experience with Agile, CI/CD, and DevOps – speak the language of efficient development.
Cloud Savvy: Familiarity with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
Problem Solver: Troubleshoot UI issues and implement solutions fast.
Lifelong Learner: Passionate about staying ahead of the curve in UI/UX.
Bonus Points:
Experience with UI/UX design tools (Figma, XD).
Version control pro (Git).
Prior lead/senior software engineer experience.
Healthcare background (a plus, but certainly not required).
Remuneration Package
So, let’s get down to the package!!
Base salary of €100,000-110,000K plus generous bonus, shares, health insurance for entire family, 26-28 days annual leave and pension and many other little goodies! Hybrid model 1 day a week in super offices and the rest from home!
Interview process involves a "Get to know you chat" followed by a hands-on technical round and a culture fit interview. All in all, 2 rounds.
