About the Position

As a  Part Qualified Accountant you will be working directly with the Financial Controller. The role offers further scope to progress, the FC in the department has been with the company for several years and the job has become available  due to company growth 

Key Responsibilities

  • You'll be the go-to person for month-end reconciliations, ensuring all accounts are shipshape (fixed assets, prepayments, accruals, the whole crew!).
  • Online banking and electronic funds transfers? Easy peasy for you.
  • Tax whiz? We need you! You'll handle VAT, PAYE, and all things revenue related.
  • You'll keep a close eye on VAT reconciliations, Intrastat, and VIES returns.
  • Preparing monthly management accounts and insightful commentaries will be your forte.
  • Budgeting and reforecasting? You got this!
  • Assisting with statutory accounts is a bonus.
  • You'll be the glue that keeps everything together, ensuring intercompany balances are reconciled monthly.
  • Accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet controls will be your playground.
  • Keeping an eye on creditors and debtors is key, and you'll be the master of this domain.

Experience/Requirements

  • You're on your way to becoming a qualified accountant (part-qualified is a must!).
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting, either in practice or industry, is a must.
  • Experience with ERPs is a big plus (bonus points if you've used Sun Systems!).
  • You're an Excel and Word whiz – data analysis is your superpower.
  • Exposure to the industry or experience in accounting practice is a plus.
  • You're an Irish tax guru, with a deep understanding of Revenue Online Service (ROS).
  • A keen eye for detail is essential – nothing gets past you!
  • You can manage your time like a boss and meet deadlines with a smile.
  • You're a master organizer and problem-solver – challenges are your fuel.
  • You thrive in a collaborative environment and love taking initiative.
  • Fluent written and spoken English is a must.

Remuneration Package

And now the good part, this position offers an industry leading €45,000-€50,000 (DOE), hybrid working, pension, 23 days holidays, free parking life assurance and other nice things to show how much you are appreciated.
