Key Responsibilities
- Tax Compliance & Reporting: Lead annual and quarterly corporate tax provisions, ensuring compliance with evolving tax laws. Collaborate with external advisors to manage tax filings and streamline processes using new technologies.
- Pillar 2 Implementation: Contribute to the working group on Pillar 2 reporting requirements, staying updated on developments and aiding strategic decisions.
- Transfer Pricing & Tax Strategy: Ensure compliance with transfer pricing policies and identify tax planning opportunities for efficiency.
- Industry Leadership: Stay abreast of the changing tax landscape, ensuring compliance and strategic adaptability.
Experience/Requirements
- Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree with at least five years in managerial taxation. AITI, ACA, or ACCA qualification is essential. Industry or major accounting firm experience preferred.
- Technical Expertise: Proficient in current and deferred tax with strong analytical skills. Familiarity with tax systems like ROS, IXBRL, and Alpha Tax is a plus.
- Core Competencies: Ability to manage inter-departmental relationships globally. Strong organizational and communication skills, with flexibility under pressure.
- Leadership Qualities: Proactive, problem-solving mindset with a passion for leadership and effective communication.
