Business Planning Manager – Asset Operations – Telemetry

About the Company

The continued development of Ireland’s water network is essential to Ireland continues growth economic development. We are currently working with one of Ireland’s leading suppliers who manage a the asset operations of the Irish water network.  They are currently looking to recruit an Business Planning Manager/Asset Manager who can help them in maximising their assets potential and lifespan and maintain constant delivery of supply through thorough preventative maintenance programs.   
This role will be instrumental in the expansion and development of the water network and for this group to meet their regulatory standards. Maintaining a large portfolio of long-life assets is an integral aspect of their success.

About the Position
Working closely with all levels of management, you will become the main central support in providing consulting Planning Management advice and expertise in the area of Asset Management. You will assess the current strategy and processes and create and develop a robust division who are experts in the area of water and waste water programs. You will also work closely with the Telemetry team to ensure a 24/7 Alarm Management program.  

Experience/Requirements 

• Work closely with the Telemetry teams on 365 Alarm management
• The development and management of the Annual Maintenance Plan including corrective and preventive maintenance requirements
• Responding to day-to-day equipment plant issues
• Ensuring prompt response to system faults and involvement/chairing of fault investigation Groups. 
• Identification and assessment of assets for refurbishment, including initial scoping and preparing capital approvals.
• Development and management of Asset Management plans, policies and standards including research, development and implementation of new approaches and systems for asset management.
• Maintenance of ISO55001 Asset Management System

• 8 years experience in an Asset Management role
• Utility Telemetry experience; Scada
• Experience of plant maintenance and asset management principles
• An ability to educate people in the area of asset management
• Strong stake holder management skills.
• Experience in engineering and construction
• Experience in creating innovative ideas and solutions
• Utilities experience in the areas of Power or Water is desired
• Consulting experience
• A full drivers license
