HR Coordinator

About the Position

Our client, a well-known financial services company based in Dublin City centre has an opening for a HR Coordinator to join their team.  The overall purpose of the role is to provide day to day support to the HR department across all facets of Human Resources as required. This is a broad and busy role and will suit a bright, self-motivated individual willing to progress in HR. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to broaden their knowledge and develop their skills while gaining exposure to a wide range of interesting and exciting projects. 

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Selection
  • Oversee the comprehensive recruitment lifecycle from drafting job adverts, posting roles, scheduling interviews, reference checks and applying for work permits as required
  • New joiner onboarding – assist in the preparation of contracts of employment, create employee files and checklists, prepare induction packs, activate IT onboarding as well as coordinate new joiner induction schedules
  • Support the HR team with the Internship & Graduate Programmes on an annual basis including preparation for campus events in local universities, preparing presentations, reviewing applications, coordinating interviews, preparing offer correspondence and new joiner packs
Employee Benefits and Payroll
  • Administration of company benefit scheme
  • Healthcare & pension administration – act as point of contact for health insurance and pension providers, maintain up to date membership reports and ad hoc correspondence
  • Preparation of annual renewal data
  • Maintain absence records, systems and reporting of such to include annual leave, illness, unpaid leave, family leave etc.
  • Prepare a detailed first draft of the payroll memos 
  • Maintain all trackers and spreadsheets in support of same
  • Proactively log payroll activity to the payroll folder and memo as they arise

HR Reporting and Administration
  • Prepare monthly headcount numbers
  • Responsible for processing HR invoices and expenses via Concur
  • Assist in the preparation of the HR forecasting figures as required
  • Responsible for HR related correspondence including confirmation of employment letters, mortgage applications, family leave forms and letters, social welfare forms
  • Coordinate quarterly training sessions for employees, gather feedback and log same

HR Projects
  • Support the HR team with ad hoc HR projects such as conducting staff surveys, engagement exercises, wellness initiatives etc.

Experience/Requirements

  • Degree Qualified
  • CIPD accreditation beneficial
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience within a HR department
  • Experience of working in financial or professional services
  • Experience of working in a fast paced/ high intensity role an advantage

Remuneration Package

€35,000 - €45,000 plus benefits
