Compensation and Benefits Analyst

About the Position

Our client, a well-known public sector organisation, is currently seeking a Compensation and Benefits Analyst for a long term contract. This is a really exciting time to join the business as they are going through a huge transformation and the role will provide great exposure and opportunities. This role requires an immediate start. Advanced Excel is essential for this role

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Performance Management System and support users across the organisation in using the system. 
  • Manage any system and / or user issues and escalate where appropriate to Performance Management Specialist as required.
  • Act as liaison between the HR Management team, performance management system, IT team & software support team to ensure any issues with the system are raised and resolved in a timely manner and any identified system improvements are implemented.
  • Co-ordinate all Performance Management Training required for the organisation.  
  • Develop and keep up to date performance management documentation and training materials.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of the performance management process, policy and system
  • Deliver all reporting requirements to the business
  • Develop and maintain progress reports to monitor business progress / completion at start, mid and end of year.   
  • Perform audits throughout the year on input at all stages in the performance management process across the business
  • Key point of contact to assist the business with any queries they may have in relation to PM

Experience/Requirements

  • Three-five years’ working in a similar role is a requirement
  • Advanced excel skills, including proficiency in data analysis, formula creation and pivot tables 
  • Relevant third level qualification in HR or a related business equivalent is required
  • Experience in HR Analytics or Performance Management would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of Performance Management Systems would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of performance management concepts, principles, and practices related to planning, monitoring, rating, and rewarding employee performance would be an advantage
  • Operating in a utility company or in a regulated industry would be an advantage
  • Experience in identifying and delivering continuous improvement in the area of Performance Management
  • Proven ability to work within cross functional teams with a collaborative and cooperative approach
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Remuneration Package

€45,000 - €50,000
