Senior HR Business Partner - Dublin, Cork or Limerick
About the Position
Our client a commercial organisation with multi-site volume business are now recruiting for a Senior HR Business Partner. This is a varied and diverse role that can be based in Dublin, Cork or Limerick and will be a hybrid position. This role will commence as a two year contract with a view to permanency
Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations: Conduct thorough investigations into employee relations matters, including conflicts, grievances, harassment complaints, and performance issues. Provide strategic guidance to management on disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, and other corrective actions while maintaining compliance with company policies and legal regulations. Develop and implement proactive strategies to improve employee morale, engagement, and retention.
Project Management: Lead and contribute to HR projects focused on enhancing employee experience, talent development, diversity and inclusion, and other strategic initiatives. Collaborate cross-functionally to define project scope, objectives, and timelines. Employ effective project management methodologies to ensure successful delivery and achievement of desired outcomes.
Business Partnership: Build strong partnerships with departmental leaders to understand their business objectives and challenges. Provide strategic HR consultation, acting as a trusted advisor on HR policies, procedures, and best practices. Coach managers on effective employee management techniques to build high-performing teams.
Policy Development and Compliance: Collaborate with the HR team to develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures in alignment with legal requirements and industry standards. Stay abreast of employment law changes to ensure ongoing compliance and mitigate risks.
Conflict Resolution and Mediation: Employ effective conflict resolution and mediation skills to address disputes between employees, teams, and management. Conduct impartial investigations when necessary and implement corrective actions as required.
Performance Management: Support the design and implementation of performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and talent development initiatives. Provide guidance to managers on performance improvement plans and performance coaching.
Experience/Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven HR experience with a strong focus on employee relations, conflict resolution, and project management.
In-depth knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated success in managing complex employee relations cases to resolution.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
Remuneration Package
€60,000 - €75,000
