About the Company
My client, based in South Dublin, is a well-known and progressive Accountancy practice that has recently acquired a new business and is continuing to grow its team in the outsourcing department. They provide a range of services including Audit, tax and advisory to a diverse and interesting client base compromising both national and international clients.
About the Position
They are looking to recruit a Senior Bookkeeper as part of their growing Business Outsource Service team. The role involves a diverse portfolio of clients and client engagement and across a broad range of sectors.
Key Responsibilities
The posting of bank transactions and completion of bank reconciliations using a computerised accounting package
Maintenance of the clients purchase ledger - posting of supplier invoices to the client's system and reconciling same to supplier statements
Posting monthly sales to the client's system
Reconciliation of monthly cash-book on computerised system, the posting of cash payments etc.
Filing of VAT returns
Preparation of Payroll using a computerised payroll package
Reconciliation of the VAT & PAYE/PRSI liabilities per the accounting system to revenue returns
Experience/Requirements
Ability to work on own initiative
High attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft excel
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
Remuneration Package
€40,000-€45,000
