The R&D group is not your average team. they are a diverse mix of professionals hailing from various backgrounds including electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, and chemistry, combined with tax and accounting expertise.  their mission is to provide unparalleled services to multinational corporations investing in Ireland, as well as domestic companies, with the goal of maximizing ROI on their R&D activities.

They are proud to collaborate with some of the largest multinational corporations across various sectors, such as technology, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, consumer goods, and medical devices. They are also privileged to work with Ireland's most dynamic PLCs and domestic technology companies. In this role, your focus will primarily be within the technology sector, providing an exciting and fast-paced environment to thrive in.

What You'll Do:
As an R&D Tax Consultant, you'll have the opportunity to develop strong client relationships, mentor junior staff, and deliver exceptional value to clients. Over time, you will establish a solid market profile, positioning yourself as an esteemed subject matter expert in R&D.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Managing a challenging and diverse client portfolio
  • Carving out your own career path, with ample opportunities for growth, specialization, and becoming a market leader
  • Establishing and nurturing business relationships, aiming to generate new business for the Firm
  • Innovating and maintaining new products and service offerings
  • Collaborating on internal technology projects to enhance productivity
  • Working within a multi-disciplinary team, comprising tax, advisory, and accounting specialists
  • Engaging in flexible working arrangements

Experience and Requirements:

  • Background in engineering or computer science
  • Prior experience in industry or academic research and/or development work within the technology sector
  • Ideally qualified/part-qualified accountant or tax professional
  • Strong business development and relationship management skills, with the ability to take direction and collaborate with Partners, managers, and clients
  • Excellent project management capabilities
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
