Financial Controller
Great opportunity with a leading service organisation in West Dublin. As the Financial Controller you will be responsible for the overall financial management and reporting of the company. This role will play a crucial part in supporting the COO and has strong potential for career progression. The ideal candidate will have a strong financial background, excellent analytical skills, and a proven ability to manage a team.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
• Preparation of management accounts and oversee the month-end close process.
• Process monthly & review monthly
• Lead the annual statutory audit.
• Prepare & file all tax returns – VAT, PAYE, C&E, CT.
• Preparation of Board Pack for monthly Board of Management (BOM)
• Weekly Sales Reporting and ad hoc management reports.
• Oversee Aged Debt and implement debt collection plans where needed.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
• Lead cost control initiatives and manage overheads.
• Monitor weekly cash flow and oversee cash management strategies.
• Manage the finance team
• Review and streamline finance systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement.
Person Specification:
• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience of SAP is an advantage.
• Team player with a proactive and hands-on approach.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
