We are seeking a Trainee Accountant to join the Finance team within an international insurance company in Dublin city centre.
This hybrid role offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in a supportive and collaborative environment. You will be involved in a variety of accounting tasks, including financial reporting, analysis, and reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements
- Manage client relationships and resolve queries
- Conduct variance analysis and explain financial results
- Ensure timely settlement of transactions
- Prepare management reports and reconcile accounts
- Adhere to internal controls and assist with audits
What You Bring:
- Part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA)
- 1-2 years experience in an accounting role preferred.
- Experience within the insurance or financial services industry highly desired.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and a working knowledge of SAP (beneficial)
Salary and Benefits:
€38,000 - €45,000 depending on experience / exams completed.
