About the Company

Are you a detail-oriented financial expert with a passion for risk management? Our client an insurance company based in Dublin city centre are seeking an Enterprise Risk Manager to join their risk team. This is a newly created position due to growth and will suit a recently qualified Big 4 trained Accountant with experience within the Financial Services industry.

In this critical role, you'll play a pivotal part in safeguarding the organisation's future, working closely with key stakeholders to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.

About the Position

Key Responsibilities

• Model Validation and Data Quality: Oversee model validation processes, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Internal Control Framework: Strengthen our internal control framework, conducting regular assessments and providing guidance to teams.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of evolving regulations and implement necessary changes to maintain compliance.
• Risk Assessment and Reporting: Conduct thorough risk assessments and provide clear, concise reports to senior management.

Experience/Requirements

• Qualified Accountant / Auditor (ACCA/ACA/CPA/CAI) with 1-3 years post qualification experience,
• Experience in a Big 4 Audit firm or else in an enterprise risk position in industry 
• Financial Services industry experience preferred
• A collaborative mindset and a passion for problem-solving
