Financial Accountant
Reporting to the head of finance our client a leading business in the service industry in South Dublin are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join their team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day financial operations of our organization. Initially being offered as 6-month FTC, this role has the strong potential to become permanent.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly management accounts.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including supplier reconciliations and customer invoicing.
• Conduct bank reconciliations, including integrated credit card account reconciliations.
• Assist with the annual budgeting and reforecasting process.
• Support the Head of Operations, Finance, and Environmental Sustainability with ad hoc reporting and analysis.
• Liaise with auditors and other external stakeholders.
• Perform general administrative tasks, including HR and payroll support.
Experience Required:
• Qualified/Part Qualified Accountant
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Available to start at short notice.
