Brightwater are seeking a Trainee Accountant to join the Finance team within an international insurance company in Dublin city centre.
This hybrid role offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in a supportive and collaborative environment. You will be involved in a variety of accounting tasks, including financial reporting, analysis, and reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements
  • Manage client relationships and resolve queries
  • Conduct variance analysis and explain financial results
  • Ensure timely settlement of transactions
  • Prepare management reports and reconcile accounts
  • Adhere to internal controls and assist with audits
What You Bring:
  • Part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA)
  • 1-2 years experience in an accounting role preferred.
  • Experience within the insurance or financial services industry highly desired.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and a working knowledge of SAP (beneficial)
Salary and Benefits:
€38,000 - €45,000 depending on experience / exams completed.
