Mechanical Design Engineer - HVAC

About the Company

An Irish growing consultants, who specialise in design for clients in industrial, pharmaceutical, commercial and transport sectors, are currently looking to recruit a Mechanical Design Engineer on a contract basis, with experience in HVAC and process engineering, for their team in Dublin. They have recently gained market share and have some large international project where they are looking for design support from their Dublin office.
This is a contract role.

About the Position

Working with mechanical projects managers, you will be involved in design projects from industrial to commercial and energy related. You will use your skills in Revit and autocad and you will be involved with a large multi-discipline team of engineers. These projects require experience in the mechanical sector.

Experience/Requirements 

Within this role you will be involved in

• Detailed design across their large project portfolio

•  Experience working with Architectural, Structural and MEP disciplines within the Data centre, Pharmaceutical and bio-medical sectors

• Work closely with the project engineer

• Create 3D models for various industries.

• Site visits on occasion to monitor installation.

• Compiling project reports and reporting to senior management

• Providing Technical back‐up and support to clients

For this role you are required to have;

• Degree/Diploma in engineering , Mechanical Engineering

• Knowledge of Autocad, Revit and 3D design

• A creative mindset

• The desire to develop a career in this engineering sector
