About the Position
An experienced Technology Security Manager is sought to lead and manage the Technology Security function. This role is responsible for defining the security strategy, making critical technology security decisions, and implementing a robust security program aligned with standards such as ISO 27001 and ISA/IEC 62443. The position requires expert experience in managing both IT and OT security systems.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Development and Risk Management:
Assess the current IT/OT environment to identify key areas of risk and develop an enterprise-wide security strategy.
Champion IT & OT security, collaborating with leadership to integrate OT principles into future capital projects.
Ensure compliance with internal and third-party security assessments for both IT and OT systems.
Operational Security Management:
Prepare an annual IT & OT security operational plan/roadmap to ensure alignment with security strategy and goals.
Lead the day-to-day management of IT & OT security operations, including:
Access control
Asset management
Threat monitoring
Incident response
Vulnerability management
Provide classroom and web-based training annually for staff, contractors, and third parties to maintain security awareness.
Maintain visible communication with management, executive leadership, and the board on a regular basis.
Policy and Framework Development:
Establish and maintain IT & OT security policies, procedures, and frameworks based on ISO 27001, ISA/IEC 62443, and other industry standards.
Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 certification and NIS2 (EU Network and Information Security Directive).
Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of security technologies and tools for IT and OT systems.
Enhance the operational resilience of IT & OT assets through incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
Threat Monitoring and Incident Management:
Identify, report, and control security incidents, continuously monitor for both internal and external threats.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to evaluate weaknesses in the enterprise.
Adapt the security program to mitigate emerging threats.
Manage security incidents centrally to ensure consistency in response, and prepare post-incident reports for senior management and the board.
Emerging Technologies and Threat Trends:
Stay ahead of emerging cybersecurity threats and evaluate new IT technologies for potential adoption.
Regularly brief the leadership team on cybersecurity trends, data, and emerging threats.
Team Development and Leadership:
Build, mentor, and collaborate with IT & OT security professionals, ensuring they stay updated with security best practices.
Support the continuous professional development of the IT & OT security team.
Participate in the performance management process to ensure the team’s objectives are met and the security strategy is executed effectively.
Ensure compliance with the company’s Health and Safety and Welfare provisions for all employees and stakeholders on the premises.
Experience/Requirements
Minimum of 10+ years in IT infrastructure/application roles, with at least 5+ years in IT Security.
Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are preferred.
Significant experience in working with Operational Technology (OT), including industrial control systems, SCADA, PLCs, and other OT technologies.
Remuneration Package
If you are an experienced IT/OT Security professional with a proven track record in managing complex security programs, we would love to hear from you. This role offers a salary between €75-85,000 and
the benefits include 24 annual leave days, the company Defined Contribution Scheme enjoy matched pension contributions of up to 8% from the company and an allowance towards healthcare.
