Financial Controller Role
Our client a leading Staffing Solutions Provider are hiring a Financial Controller to join their team Reporting to the MD this is a hands-on role, and you will be responsible the finance function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing insightful analysis to support informed decision-making. Our client is Dublin based and offer flexible hybrid working. This role is initially being offered on an interim basis with a view to becoming a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities 
•Manage the complete month-end process, from establishing timelines to preparing internal monthly management accounts for senior management review.
•Oversee the billing function, ensuring timely and accurate invoice issuance.
•Maintain the integrity of the general ledger by ensuring accurate transaction recording.
•Ensure the general ledger structure is appropriate for overhead recording and analysis.
•Approve and process accounts payable invoices.
•Review and approve creditor reconciliations and payment runs.
•Manage credit control
•Reconcile profit and loss accounts against budgets, highlighting variances.
•Manage debtor and creditor account queries, ensuring prompt follow-up.
•Assist in the preparation of year-end audit files and liaise with external auditors.
•Ensure compliance with all revenue deadlines (VAT, PAYE, CT, WHT).
•Manage monthly payroll
•Ensure client accounts are managed effectively from a commercial perspective. Identify and implement improvements to optimize commercial performance.
•Assist in the annual budget process and conduct regular budget reviews.

Skills / Experience:
•Qualified accountant with relevant industry experience.
•Proven experience in completing monthly management accounts.
•Strong commercial acumen.
• Ability to take ownership of tasks with confidence.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
•Excellent planning and organizational skills.
•Strong team player with the ability to collaborate across all business functions.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
