Senior Internal Audit

About the Position

Key Responsibilities

• Undertaking and leading a range of audit assignments and communicating the results of assignments to the appropriate senior business unit management
• Ensure audit plans are being effectively implemented through appropriate design, focus, direction and control of individual audit assignments
• Participating in the annual audit planning process
• Timely monitoring/escalation of the implementation of audit recommendations.
• Ability to network at all levels within the organisation, coupled with strong communication skills particularly with senior management 
• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills with strong overall understanding and knowledge of internal control and risk systems. 
• Be available to travel on overseas assignments for extended periods of time should the need arise.

Experience/Requirements

• Qualified Accountant / Auditor (e.g. ACA, ACCA, IIA)
• IT qualifications (e.g. CISA, IT degree)
• 5+ years audit or relevant experience within Financial Services (Fund / Asset Management industry)
• In-depth experience and knowledge of audit process and methodologies
• IT literate, including the use of IT techniques for auditing and analysing data
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and the regulatory changes impacting the financial services (Fund / Asset Management industry)
