About the Company

Renewable Energy, and power usage and management is an essential part of Ireland’s 2030 climate targets. We are currently working with one of Ireland’s leading consultancies who manage a number of utilities programs related to power, transmission and distribution and water. They are currently looking to recruit an Asset Manager who can help them in maximising their assets potential and lifespan and maintain constant delivery of supply through thorough preventative maintenance programs.   
This client is one of Europe’s leading names in energy and engineering and carry a reputation of quality and innovation in the areas of Renewable Energy. Maintaining a portfolio of assets is an integral aspect of their success.

About the Position

Working closely with all levels of management, and with large clients, you will become the main central support in providing consulting advice and expertise in the area of Asset Management. You will assess the current strategy and processes and create and develop a robust division who are experts in the area of windfarms and renewable energy programs.

Experience/Requirements 

Within this role you are will:

• Manage a large portfolio of windfarms.

• The development and management of the Annual Maintenance Plan including corrective and preventive maintenance requirements

• Responding to day-to-day equipment plant issues

• Ensuring prompt response to system faults and involvement/chairing of fault investigation Groups. 

• Identification and assessment of assets for refurbishment, including initial scoping and preparing capital approvals.

• Development and management of Asset Management plans, policies and standards including research, development and implementation of new approaches and systems for asset management.

• Maintenance of ISO55001 Asset Management System

For this role you are required to have:

• 5 years experience in an Asset Management role

• Experience of plant maintenance and asset management principles

• Experience in Windfarms

• An ability to educate people in the area of asset management

• Strong stake holder management skills.

• Experience in engineering and construction

• Experience in creating innovative ideas and solutions

• Utilities experience in the areas of Power or Water is desired

• Consulting experience

• A full drivers license

Remuneration Package

The client offers an excellent package along with benefits. They also offer pension, a car allowance and healthcare. They have also incorporated a hybrid model and, as this is a consulting role, you will be responsible for your location of work on a needs must basis.
