Our client is a leading global company with a substantial presence in Ireland. They are based in Dublin City Centre and offer a hybrid work environment of 2 days per week.

About the Position

They have an immediate requirement for an experienced software Technology Program Manager. This role offers the opportunity to lead and manage technical projects within a dynamic organisation. You will act as a key bridge between technical and non-technical aspects, ensuring projects align with strategic goals and deliver results efficiently. The role requires excellent communication and collaboration skills to foster a successful project environment.

Key Responsibilities

 

• Lead and manage technical projects from inception to completion.

• Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

• Coordinate effectively across diverse teams to achieve project objectives.

• Possess strong understanding of technical requirements and challenges.

• Ensure project feasibility, resource availability, and technical alignment.

• Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and dependencies proactively.

• Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Clearly communicate project status, risks, and changes to all stakeholders.

• Facilitate and lead project meetings and discussions.

• Identify and mitigate potential risks throughout the project lifecycle.

• Develop and implement contingency plans to address unforeseen circumstances.

• Champion best practices in project management and technical development.

• Continuously evaluate and improve project management tools and processes.

• Provide guidance, support, and resources to ensure team success.

Experience/Requirements

• Proven experience in Technical Program Management with a focus on software delivery.

• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies and Agile frameworks.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
