Sales Manager

Exciting new opportunity to work for a leading global Transport and Logistics company based in Dublin.  In this role you will be heading up the sales  team and helping to expand the company in Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue, and expense controls.
• Setting individual sales targets with the internal sales support  team.
• Overseeing the activities and performance of the sales function.
• Developing the sales team through motivation, counselling, and product knowledge education.
• Develop and grow relations with existing customers.

Experience/Requirements

• At least 3-5 years direct sales experience preferably in the transport or logistics industry
• Experience with planning and implementing sales strategies.
• Experience with customer relationship management and CRM systems
• Experience of managing and directing in-house sales support.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience of reporting against sales targets and budgets.
