Drainage Design Engineer - Water Networks

About the Company

Working with one of Ireland’s largest consultancy’s this role will offer you the opportunity to add value to the Irish water expansion programs. Our client is looking for an experience Drainage Design Engineer with water rehabilitation experience to join their expanding team.  
As a result of these large programs in the water sector, our client is currently looking to recruit a Hydraulic Modeller to manage the delivery of a major water expansion program in Ireland. This client specializes in the utility market and have a number of programs across the water network in Ireland.

About the Position

For this program you will come from a civil/mechanical background and have extensive experience in large water/wastewater projects. You will understand business management and all related aspect of running projects from inception stage to client delivery. You will be well versed in design and have prior experience working with high profile clients, local authorities and stakeholders.
Ideally you will come from a consulting background and have experience in full life cycle design management. Experience working in Irish Water projects would be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities
For this role you will have:

• Experienced in micro drainage for drainage infrastructure

• Proficiency in using Infoworks, ICM, Microdrainage or other industry standard software for hydraulic modelling of wastewater and drainage networks

• water distribution and wastewater system design experience

• Client facing experience

• Knowledge of GIS tools

• Ability to analyze complex hydraulic systems

• Experience in the water/wastewater sector

• Project Management experience

• Consulting background.

• A good knowledge of current construction methodologies and program management.

Remuneration Package

The client offers an attractive package including pension and healthcare and also has a WFH option. You will also be entitled to a car allowance or travel expenses if required.
