Reinsurance Accountant

About the Company
This 12-month contract role offers a dynamic opportunity for a seasoned Ceded Reinsurance Accountant to lead financial accounting and reporting for a leading specialty insurer. Based in Dublin or London, you'll ensure ceded data is meticulously reviewed, transformed, and reported across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing ceded data and calculations
• Processing ceded premium and loss journals
• Reconciling general ledgers
• Reporting on net reinsurance arrangements
• Supporting key stakeholders across finance and actuarial teams
• Contributing to SOX compliance and best practices

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CPA/CIMA)
• Strong reinsurance technical skills and industry experience
• Lloyd’s experience desirable
• Advanced Excel skills with ability to handle large data sets
• Strong analytical skill
• Reinsurance system implementation and data reconciliation expertise an advantage.

• €75,000 - €85,000 or daily rate of  €700-€800/day
• Hybrid working
