Financial Accountant (6 month FTC)
About the Company
Our client is an international insurance company based in Dublin and they are recruiting a financial accountant on a 6 month contract.
This will suit a qualified accountant with experience within the insurance/financial services sector. This person will work in a team of 8 accountants and will report to the Financial Controller.
About the Position
Key Responsibilities

Assist finance team in completion of the monthly close process

Prepare reconciliations for key balance sheet accounts

Work with the finance team to issue financial, regulatory and management reports.

Prepare general ledger posting transactions

Assist with VAT, IPT & FET tax calculations

Assist with maintenance and development of systems and internal controls

Assist with implementation of new GL system and other financial systems
Experience/Requirements
-
Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CPA)

Experience in Financial Services sector - insurance / reinsurance accounting experience preferred but not essential.

Excellent communications skills

Ability to prioritise workload
Remuneration Package
€70,000 - €80,000
