HR Business Partner

About the Position

Our client, a prominent financial services organisation have just brought a very interesting new HR Business Partner to the market. This is a diverse and meaty role with a wide remit that will join a busy and supportive HR team. Experience working in the legal or professional services industry will be key for this role

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic HR Support:
    • Partner with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that align with overall business goals.
    • Provide expert advice and guidance on a range of HR issues, including employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, and employee development.
    • Conduct needs assessments and develop and deliver tailored HR solutions to address specific business challenges.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Investigate and resolve employee relations issues, such as employee complaints, disciplinary matters, and performance concerns.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
    • Promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Talent Management:
    • Support talent acquisition efforts by providing guidance on recruitment strategies and selection processes.
    • Partner with managers to develop and implement effective performance management and succession planning strategies.
    • Coach and mentor employees to develop their skills and advance their careers.
  • HR Operations:
    • Oversee and contribute to the implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs.
    • Ensure accurate and timely data entry and recordkeeping in HR systems.
    • Participate in HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement surveys and diversity and inclusion programs.

Experience/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with a strong foundation in employee relations and talent management.
  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP) preferred.

Remuneration Package

€65,000 - €80,000 plus benefits
