Maintenance Engineer/Technician – Electrical & Mechanical

About the Company

We are currently looking to recruit a maintenance engineer with experience in the industrial sector or manufacturing sector for a large client in Ireland.  This is an opportunity to work on large facilities projects in the manufacturing sector. This facility is in the pharmaceutical sector and they are constantly being upgraded and maintained and require the specialist skills of engineers/technicians in this area.

About the Position

Working on the project management team, you will be involved in the operations and maintenance of manufacturing equipment in Dublin. You will work closely with the engineering department to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget. You will work in an O&M environment and have a keen interest in reliability engineering.

Experience/Requirements 

Within this role you will be involved in

• Experience in electro/mechanical engineering

• Project Management at a senior level

• Facilities Management  

• O&M experience

• Experience in maintenance and problem solving

• Review of exiting plans and update where needed.

• Monitor the schedules and time scales regarding design and delivery.

• Generate regular report on the project status.

• Cost, revenue and cash flow management.

• Work on a shift basis.

For this role you are required to have;

• A min or 3 years electrical experience.

• A related Engineering qualification, ideally Electrical/Mechanical Engineering

• Trade experience is welcomed.

• Ideally you will have experience in large manufacturing sites

• Experience in Mechanical and Electrical Projects

• A self-starter and the ability to manage multiple projects as any given time.

• Full driving licence
