Internal Controls Analyst

Brightwater have partnered with a major insurer that is looking to hire an internal controls analyst to their team. This is an ideal role for an experienced auditor/operations professional within insurance to take the next step up in their career.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the local implementation of annual regulatory digital and operational resilience requirements, including assisting service owners and coordinating the annual cycle of operational resilience board

  • Oversee the integration of key resilience frameworks and tools, ensuring compliance with internal control requirements.

  • Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to key stakeholders, including senior management, functional leads, and contract owners.

  • Coordinate company-wide engagement on business resilience, working with functional owners to identify and maintain critical processes and dependencies while developing and testing service continuity capabilities.

  • Support and maintain the annual business resilience program, ensuring key activities and deliverables are met.

  • Assist various business functions in applying resilience policies and frameworks effectively.

  • Provide input and expertise for strategic projects related to resilience and risk management.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Level 8 degree or professional qualification desired

  • 4 or more years of experience in insurance or a similar industry

  • Capability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities.

  • Experience in internal controls, business resilience, third-party risk management, or general risk management is required

Compensation: €45,000-€50,000 plus an excellent benefits package. This is a hybrid position.
