Quantity Surveyor – Renewable Energy

About the Company

Our client, who operate in the renewable energy sector are looking to increase their commercial team with the assistance of a Quantity Surveyor, based in Cork or Dublin.

About the Position

Working closely with the commercial director, you will become the main central support in providing expertise in the area of quantity surveying for a range a projects across the country.

Experience/Requirements 

Within this role you are will:

• Manage a portfolio of projects from a QS perspective

• Responsible for estimating and costings of works required

• Manage and develop a team of quantity surveyors  

• Report to senior directors in project plans and developments.

• Manage materials and procurement for the programs.

• Manage the legal aspects of the contracts.

• Manage pre construction through to completion 

For this role you are required to have:

• 4 years experience in Quantity Surveying

• A related qualification, RISC

• Experience in engineering and construction

• Experience in large scale construction programs.

• Contractor experience ideally

• A full drivers license

Remuneration Package

The client offers an excellent package along with benefits. They also offer pension, a car allowance and healthcare. They have also incorporated a hybrid model and, as this is a senior consulting role, you will be responsible for your location of work on a needs must basis.
