About the Position
As the Network and Security Cloud Analyst you will support IT Security and Network operations. This includes overseeing security infrastructure, firewalls, Load Balancers, DMZs, network switches, IPT, WIFI, video conferencing, and WAN connectivity. You will ensure all network components are securely patched, handle capacity planning, and manage third-party vendors involved in Security and Network Operations.
Key Responsibilities
Review, implement, configure, and manage complex Network Infrastructure.
Manage vendor relationships, performance, and budgets.
Prioritise and schedule infrastructure workload for both BAU operations and project delivery, adhering to best practices in release management, configuration, asset management, and change management.
Manage the sequencing and interdependencies of IT Security and Network Operations initiatives.
Ensure IT service availability and stability, meeting monthly and annual KPIs.
Support technical and security standards, including Active Directory, email/file management, and network/internet security.
Log and monitor security events, patching, backups, and respond to potential attacks.
Lead the controlled addition, modification, or removal of IT Infrastructure assets.
Continuously improve infrastructure services to meet business demands.
Plan resource and capacity requirements for ongoing operational activities, ensuring that transitioning solutions are fit for future support.
Manage daily security operations, including firewalls, virus protection, IDS/IPS, incident management, web sense, and Load Balancer management.
Collaborate with Cyber Security, Architecture, and Build & Delivery teams to ensure secure IT systems, solutions, and data.
Maintain up-to-date infrastructure support documentation.
Review new network service changes, ensuring they meet acceptance and quality assurance criteria.
Provide out-of-hours support as part of the Standby Rota and assist with out-of-hours work as needed.
Experience/Requirements
In-depth knowledge of Cisco IT network infrastructure.
CCNP certification is highly desirable.
Experience with Cisco Nexus switches and ACI is advantageous.
Familiarity with Routing Technologies such as OSPF and Multicast Routing is beneficial.
Experience in managing teams, with strong leadership, change management, and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Proven ability to handle complex issues proactively and communicate effectively.
Highly motivated and able to meet professional standards while delivering results within a team.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify problems, propose solutions, and implement improvements.
Adaptability to shift focus in line with business strategies.
Proactively seek improvement opportunities and apply new knowledge and skills gained on the job.
Remuneration Package
Salary
: €48,653 - €72,979 (depending on experience) & a suite of benefits.
