My client is a leading information and technology-enabled health services business. They are dedicated to modernizing the health care system and improving the lives of people and communities. Serving virtually every dimension of the health system, they work with a diverse set of clients across 150 countries – from those who diagnose and treat patients to those who pay for care, deliver health services, and those who supply the cures.

About the Position

This role involves developing and testing updates for a pricing tool using Excel, VBA, and SQL, ensuring high-quality outputs and thorough test documentation. The ideal candidate will also provide ongoing support for the existing solution, create technical documentation, and adhere to team standards and practices. This is a 12 month contract role, based in Dublin city centre.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test updates for a pricing tool utilizing Excel, VBA, and SQL.

  • Ensure the accuracy and high quality of outputs, and provide detailed test results as evidence.

  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the existing pricing solution.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all changes and updates.

  • Collaborate with the team and follow established delivery practices and standards.

Experience/Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in developing solutions with Excel formulas, VBA macros, and SQL.
  • Strong expertise in SQL querying and writing SQL scripts (2+ years).
  • At least 1 year of experience with Python programming.

Remuneration Package

A generous daily rate approx €500-600 per day.
