About the Position

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and publish timely monthly consolidated accounts of UK and Ireland for reporting purposes - Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting – Responsible for month-end and year-end close process.
• Lead migration to new SAP ERP for both UK and Ireland operations
• Ongoing management of SAP ERP system
• Manage all accounting operations including Billing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, WIP and Revenue Recognition for UK and Irish businesses.
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
• Manage and comply with legal reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Manage business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Additional controller duties as necessary.
• HR in both companies

Experience/Requirements

• Fully qualified accountant (CA, ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Previous experience in a similar position, including experience of providing Financial Control across a group of companies.
• Up to date knowledge of UK and Irish GAAP and IFRS.
• Advanced Excel modelling skills - Experience of operating in multi-currency environments.
• Team player with good communication skills.

Remuneration Package

• Salary €80,000-€90,000
• Pension
