The Autumn Conferring Ceremony for Chartered Accountants kicked off in Dublin on October 11th at 2pm. The first of two ceremonies in Dublin started at 2pm with over 140 new conferees. The second ceremony started at 6pm with over 200 newly admitted members to Chartered Accountants Ireland.
President Feargal McCormack urged everyone to remember to use their skills not only for their own career development but also to contribute to their own communities.
It was certainly a family occasion with the members bringing along their loved ones to help celebrate their achievements. There was a great atmosphere in the Lambay Room after each ceremony with the families enjoying a glass of wine and taking photos with their scrolls declaring them a member of the Chartered Accountants.
